New Year! New Color?

Hi Everyone! Happy New Year! 🎉

I can't believe how quickly the year flew by, and it's been since JULY since I last did a proper post! Time really does fly when you're immersed in exciting projects and surrounded by inspiring people.

So, some of you might be wondering—“Paula, where did you disappear to?”

Well, let me tell you, I've been busy working and networking with some absolutely extraordinary people! The kind of work that keeps me on my toes, and I couldn't be more grateful. My focus has been on assisting my clients, which meant putting my social media on pause for a bit.

2024 was a year of tremendous growth and learning, and I'm thrilled to continue this momentum into 2025. I can't wait to help my clients build their businesses even further this year!

So, what's next in 2025?

Well, the future is always full of surprises, but I'm optimistic and ready for whatever comes our way. My wish for everyone is an amazing year ahead, and I’m here to help wherever I can.

Today my win was receiving such an incredible compliment on my journey: they didn't recognize me!

Last month, I had the pleasure of meeting some fantastic female entrepreneurs. Tonight, I had the chance to reconnect with them, and one lovely lady mentioned that she didn't recognize me at first. Maybe it was because I was rocking my new "boss lady" pants (seriously, I put them on and feel like a superhero!) or perhaps it was the confident and excited energy I brought to the networking event.

I felt both confident and comfortable, and I was thrilled to meet new connections and catch up with some familiar faces. I am so proud of the leaps and bounds I've taken, and I look forward to helping those on a similar journey.

Let's take a snooze with our emails! Hahaha

Happy Tips & Tricks Tuesday, everyone! Today, I wanted to highlight the snooze feature in both Outlook and Gmail.

I use this feature all the time to keep my inboxes clean and stay laser-focused on the tasks at hand.

When do I snooze an email?
📩 When I'm waiting on a response from someone else—maybe they're on vacation, backed up, or there's a set deadline.
📩 When I can review/work on it at a different time/date—because if everything is a high priority, then nothing is! Remember to schedule time blocks!

Don't worry though! If an update comes in through the email chain, it will go right back to the inbox!

I also pair this with my handy dandy categories to mark my place (waiting on others, priority level, etc.) so I know where I left off.

Today, I want to showcase an app I’ve been absolutely loving: Toggl (@toggltrack). This fantastic time-tracking tool has been a game-changer for me, especially now with my growing client base!

For those of us juggling multiple clients and various tasks, Toggl makes it super easy to track projects in real-time. You can break down your time, run detailed reports, and show your clients exactly where your hours are going. It’s perfect for keeping everything transparent and efficient!

I just moved from Toggl’s free version to their Starter plan, and let me tell you, the additional features are worth it! I’m still exploring everything it has to offer, but so far, it’s been nothing short of amazing. Seeing the studio packed with determined members pushing their limits and cheering each other on was exactly why I joined this community. The energy was through the roof!

PS - Shoutout to Coach Lindsay for firing us up and handing out the distance flags - the only time getting a red flag (5000 meters) is a good thing! hahaha

Stretching is HUGE! If you're like me, you might forget to move, let alone stretch throughout the day. This has caused some health issues for me, and I’m working on correcting them. Honestly, what do I and Rice Krispies have in common? We both snap, crackle, and pop! 😂 I’m definitely not crack-a-lackin'! 😀

So, what can you do? Reach out to professionals like your doctor, fitness coach, physiotherapist, chiropractor, and massage therapist to find out what’s not working properly and which stretches would benefit you the most! And remember, to summarize Newton’s First Law of Motion: A body at rest will remain at rest. A body in motion will remain in motion.
